Using traditional dressmaking techniques, every skirt is carefully cut before being allowed to hang and rest naturally. This important stage allows the fabric to settle before the hem is carefully levelled, finished and pressed, helping to create a beautifully balanced garment that hangs elegantly and moves naturally.
Unlike garments produced on an assembly line, each Classic Circle Skirt is created from beginning to end as an individual piece. Every stage - from preparing the fabric and constructing the garment to pressing, finishing and final inspection - is completed with patience and care.
The generous circle of fabric, together with the carefully constructed knee-length lining and beautifully finished hem, all contribute to the time required to create each skirt. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a garment that hangs beautifully, moves with ease and is a pleasure to wear.
The knee-length lining has been carefully chosen to provide comfort and coverage while allowing the skirt to retain its graceful movement and lightness.

For customers wishing to see a fabric before making their final selection, fabric swatches are available upon request. Simply note the fabric codes you would like to receive, include your postal address, and submit your request via our Contact Us page.
Fabric swatches are supplied at cost. The current charge is $9.80 for the Australia Post Express Post satchel, plus $1.00 per fabric swatch requested. Once we receive your request, we will prepare and email your invoice. Upon receipt of payment, your fabric swatches will be dispatched within 2 business days via Australia Post Express Post.
Choosing Your Waistband
The waistband is one of the defining features of every skirt and one of the most important decisions you'll make when personalising your garment. More than simply holding your skirt in place, it has been designed to provide exceptional comfort, versatility and timeless style.
Our signature cotton-elastane waistband is proudly made in Australia.
The seam between the waistband and the skirt has been thoughtfully designed to sit comfortably where your natural waist transitions to your hips, creating a flattering silhouette while allowing the waistband to be styled in different ways.
The waistband may be worn at its full height for a beautifully defined silhouette, gently ruched for a softer, more relaxed look, or folded over to create a lower profile. It can also be worn beneath or over your favourite top, allowing you to style your skirt in a way that feels uniquely yours.
Choosing the right waistband is an important part of personalising your garment.
Your Welcome Pack includes further information and illustrations to help you select the waistband option that best suits you before confirming your order.
As each garment is individually handcrafted, your waistband selection cannot be altered once your order has been confirmed.
How Your Personalisation Begins
Every garment begins with your initial selections.
Simply choose your preferred skirt fabric and waistband colour, then submit your enquiry.
Once we receive your selections, we'll prepare and send your Welcome Pack.
Your Welcome Pack includes:
a Welcome Letter;
a Measurement Guide; and
your Personalisation Form.
Your Personalisation Form will include your initial fabric and colour selections, together with the information we'll need from you to complete your order.
When you receive your Welcome Pack, take your time reviewing the information and completing your form.
There is no pressure to make immediate decisions – we encourage you to consider your choices carefully.
When you're completely happy with the information you've provided, simply sign and email your completed Personalisation Form back to us.
Once we receive your completed form, we'll prepare and issue your invoice.
Once full payment of your invoice has been received and cleared, your fabrics will be reserved and your garment will enter our creation queue.
